What is the Purpose of the YGA Summit?

Since its establishment in 2000, YGA has been a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing young people with both conscience and competence to create meaningful innovations for humanity. The YGA Summit is the first step for volunteers and holds a unique place among YGA’s projects and initiatives.

  • Bringing together the brightest 20,000 high school and university students with leading scientists, artists, academics, and top executives to gain insights and share experiences.

What Do You Gain from Attending the Summit?

Every year, 30 students among thousands of successful applicants earn a spot in the YGA Global Impact Programs after a three-stage interview process. These students receive mentorship from world-renowned scientists and industry leaders such as Prof. Aziz Sancar (Nobel Prize Winner), Prof Dr. Daron Acemoğlu (MIT, Nobel Prize Winner) and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toner (Harvard & MIT), Prof. Dr. Steven Chu (12th US Secretary of Energy), Derya Matras (VP, Meta). They also benefit from the extensive 20+ years of experience YGA has in leadership and impact-driven initiatives.

Summit attendees gain the opportunity to participate in YGA programmes, the World Science Movement project, and other social impact ventures. Through their responsibilities in these projects, they develop both their conscience and competence.
